Strand Bar & Grill is one of the top downtown bars for straight-up unwinding and drinking. Not too big on the ultra-hip Gaslamp scene, Strand Bar & Grill is more of a drinker's bar--keeping an emphatic eye on the tap, rather than amenities. The jukebox blares out classic old tunes and the pool tables serve as recreational water breaks in between rounds. The bartenders are courteous and friendly, and their prices are well within reason.
