D Street Bar & Grill is the revamped Martini Ranch in Encinitas. Although dancing and live entertainment is now out of the question, D Street's sports bar-meets-cocktail lounge vibe attracts a wide following. Families and beach-goers visit into the evening, a mature happy hour crowd groups as the sun sets, and a young, rowdy mass of Encinitas natives pops in and out between Saloon-stops throughout the night. Inside, large leather booths border the spacious central area where four-top tables are replaced by a standing room only attitude as the night proceeds.
