The Casbah celebrates its twentieth anniversary this January.

The Casbah is as timeless as some of the acts that have graced the stage. Catering to both local bands and nationally touring acts, the Casbah has forever maintained a come one, come all approach to showcasing music. Throw in a mellow lounge, sizeable outdoor smoking area, and reasonably cheap drinks, and it is no wonder this downtown spot hits the ripe age of 20 without ever skipping a beat.

To celebrate the big 20, our favorite local music venue is hosting a month long birthday celebration featuring some of the best old school and brand new San Diego bands.
